Our Story
Founder and CEO Drew Anderson from Decatur/Stone Mountain Georgia, wanted Black Smoke's development to be apart of the representation of “Black Excellence and Pride”. With her being an advocate for women and people of color, it was something that was very important for her to express through the creation of Black Smoke. Being a Black owned as well as women owned establishment, we recognize the importance of acknowledging and embracing our power and culture now more than ever and being the change we desire to see in our community. Black Smoke not only specializes in customer service, but community service as well. Community service is a powerful way to make a positive impact on our community, which is our ultimate goal--to have a positive impact on underrepresented and marginalized communities. Every act of service can make a difference. By giving back, we not only help those in need, but inspire others to do the same through our "#BlackSmokeGivesBack" campaign where we provide hot gourmet meals and hygiene packages for homeless persons in the surrounding areas. We fully support and advocate for the people of our nation who are constantly pushing for change and social justice. We want to make sure our customers feel and know that they are welcomed here at Black Smoke regardless of race , class, gender or sexual orientation. We plan on our customers being able to rely on us to provide a safe space to experience exceptional customer service, delicious food, drinks and a guaranteed good time, as we attempt to restore the comfort and happiness back into the social lives of so many. We can't wait to serve you! Take a look at our menu items that pay homage to many beloved Black influencers.
